As Tennessee’s third largest city Knoxville has a vast array of activities to offer its family activitiesresidents! From high end restaurants to outdoor parks Knoxville really has it all! However, as summer hits many families scramble to find things to do with their newly “out of school” children. And it might not be as easy as just going out to dinner. Being seasoned Knoxville movers we have not only moved many families but have some of our own! So we decided to put together a list of family activities in this beautiful city we call home!

1. JumpJam Trampoline Park – This park has a dual purpose – fun and exercise – what more could a family ask for! Be sure to check out their KidJump for the cheap price of $8. Address: 11201 Threadstone Lane 2. Splash Pads- This activity is Free and not to mention fun and an absolute relief in the hot days of summer! Visit parks including McFee Park, Powell Station Park, Worlds Fair Park and more! 3. Knoxville Zoo- Both parents and children alike can enjoy the exotic animals at the zoo! Address: 3500 Knoxville Zoo Drive 4. Hiking- With 86 miles of trails in and around Knoxville you can be sure to get out and get some outdoors time in with the family! 5. Movies on Market Square- Another fantastic FREE activity for the entire family to participate in. Movies on Market Square plays movies right in the park! To top it off the movies are pet friendly!

So no need to spend a lot of money this summer on expensive camps or trips! There are free and just as fun things to do right in your backyard!
